NWR lowers its rates by 70%

Dr Matthias M. Ngwangwama – Acting Managing Director

Windhoek, 22 February 2020 – The year 2020 is a special year for NWR: The company becomes 21 years of age and Namibia becomes 30 years old. In this context, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) is proud to announce that it will be running its independence discount during the month of March 2020 with added incentives. As NWR reaches 21 years of age and Namibia celebrates a massive milestone of turning 30 years old, NWR will be offering clients an opportunity to stay at any of its establishments and only pay 30% of the cost.

Resorts such as Gross Barmen will see a room costing as little as N$ 330.50 per person sharing with Halali going for as low as N$ 299.70 per person sharing while an individual can expect to pay N$ 375 for a chalet at Popa Falls. NWR is thus urging everyone to make use of these once-in-a-lifetime low rates as an opportunity to travel, explore and enjoy the serenity of this extraordinarily beautiful country with unspoilt natural magnificence.

Dr Matthias Ngwangwama, Acting Managing Director, says that “through this special, we aim to showcase our appreciation to the Namibian public who are an important leg as domestic tourists and who have continuously supported us as a company. Over the years, we have grown significantly and would want every one of them to take time as we celebrate our Independence to explore Namibia through us so as to know their country better”.

“We will also be offering our clients N$30 off on all meals and a further 30% discount on activities. The discount will be running at all our facilities spread across Namibia excluding campsites” says Mr Mufaro Njabulo Nesongano, Corporate Communications, Online Media and Sponsorships Manager.

NWR upgrades camping facilities at MILE 108 and reduces camping fees for the 2019 festive season

Mufaro Nesongano – Corporate Communications and Online Media Manager

Windhoek, 19 November 2019 – The festive season is upon us and several people are looking forward to an adventurous camping holiday alongside the coastline of Namibia.

Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) is therefore pleased to inform the holidaymakers that it has done significant upgrades to its camping sites at Mile108 and reduced its camping fees to allow more travellers to enjoy a camping holiday.

“We have constructed new ablution facilities and upgraded the first 16 (sixteen) camping areas to now offer convenient self-contained sites for our esteemed camping guests. Each of the 16 sites will have access to its own bathroom facilities such as a toilet, shower, storage space and hot water. For the first time, early birds and camping lovers at Mile 108 will enjoy the bonus of the newly built self-contained camping sites” says Mr Mufaro Njabulo Nesongano, NWR corporate communications, online media and sponsorship manager.

The prices for the ordinary campsites at Mile 72, Mile 108 and Jakkalsputz have been reduced to N$ 240 per campsite per day for four people. The newly constructed self-contained campsites at Mile 108 will cost N$ 400 per site per day for four people staying less than ten days. Campers staying more than ten days will pay N$ 300 per site per day. The good news is that going forward anglers will from January 2020 be able to visit and camp at Mile 108 throughout the year.

Due to the limited number of new ablution facilities, clients should start to make bookings in advance to secure prime space on a first-come-first-served basis.
