DESERT KAYAK IN THE /AI-/AIS RICHTERSVELD TRANSFRONTIER PARK
At Boplaas, we offer Kayaking through the Orange river for half a day. The Desert Kayak operates from the /Ai-/Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park (ARTP) which is situated between Namibia and South Africa.

BOAT CRUISE AT POPA FALLS
Popa Falls is your gateway to the largest transfrontier park in the world known as the Kavango, Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area or KAZA consisting of five countries namely Angola, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. While here, feel free to explore the falls through an exclusive boat cruise.

HIKING
We offer hiking opportunities within the Naukluft Mountains, Waterberg Plateau or in Africa’s largest canyon, the Fish River Canyon (May – September). A minimum of three people is required to book the Fish River Canyon Hike and children under the age of 12 are not permitted. The walk is approximately 85km long, and usually takes between 4-5 days to complete. Lastly, a recent medical certificate of fitness is required to complete the Fish River Canyon Hike.

The /Ai-/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park (ARTP) is a unique environment where we offer adventure sports activities. Having beautiful mountainous scenery, along with a remote wilderness character and the presence of a major river within a desert environment it is the perfect home for our Desert Knights Mountain Bike Tour – which combines 5 days of cycling, some of it at night under the full moon, and 1 day of kayaking on the Orange River.

Terrace Bay is an angler’s paradise offering an exceptional coastal experience inside the famous Skeleton Coast Park in Northwest Namibia. The resort is located on the coast, set in an undisturbed and peaceful spot, surrounded by the majestic dunes of the northern Namib Desert. Torra Bay Campsite is a popular fishing retreat, situated within the Skeleton Coast Park as well. Torra Bay is only open in December and January.
