With over 1,2 million applications in the iTunes store, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) saw the need to officially launch its own Android and iPhone application. The application can be downloaded for free in the Google Play or iTunes store by searching for NWR.

Windhoek, 9 June 2015 – In anticipation of the opening of the Hardap resort slated to open later this year, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has begun training staff members that will be assigned to it.

Windhoek, 20 October 2015 – As we are fast approaching the holiday season, a number of us are looking forward to taking a long deserved break and possibly travelling to the coastal side of Namibia. After having experienced a power challenge over the past few days that resulted in an inconsistent supply of electricity at the camp, Okaukuejo is now fully functioning as before.

Windhoek, 11 January 2016 – It has now just come to the attention of Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) that the two bodies of the German nationals who went missing have been found though unfortunately they are not alive.


Windhoek, 18 January 2016 – With the holiday season, having come to an end for many of us, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) cannot hide its excitement at the rate the domestic market explored our camps/resorts throughout the country. For instance, from 1 December 2015 up until 31 December 2015, all six of the camps/resorts within the Etosha National Park received an average of 60% total occupancy in comparison to 2014 where we received just above 40%. This huge increase is attributed to the keen interest that the domestic market showed in wanting to explore Namibia.


Windhoek, 27 January 2016 – It is with great dismay that Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) read about the article that appeared in the Namibian Newspaper on 26 January 2016. The article with the heading “Tourist complains of 'worst holiday' at Etosha” is contrary to what is taking place at the Namutoni Fort.
